New Family Orientation

We鈥檙e excited to welcome new families to 黑料情报站! Join us for New Family Orientation on Monday, August 17, 2026 and Tuesday, August 18, 2026. This is an opportunity to explore campus, meet other families, and learn about resources that support your student. You鈥檙e welcome to attend any sessions that fit your schedule or take time to get your student settled in their residence hall. Please review the schedule below and plan accordingly. Please note sessions and locations are subject to change.
Please note:
- All New Family Orientation sessions are optional for parents and family members to attend and only a few events overlap with students
- Sessions for parents/families are separate from the required student orientation schedule your student will attend 8/17/26 - 8/25-26
- Parents or family members should not feel any of the New Family Orientation sessions are mandatory for them to attend

Schedule for Parents/Family Members only
Please note all sessions for New Family Orientation sessions are OPTIONAL for parents/family members. Parents or family members should not feel any of the sessions are mandatory for them to attend. Students have a different "Student Orientation Schedule" than the "new family orientation" schedule below and students may receive much of the same information throughout their week long orientation facilitated through the SLICE (Student Leadership, Involvement, and Community Engagement) office.
